96 degrees and 70% humidity

Postby cutehogg on Tue Aug 26, 2014 11:30 am

Went fishing this morning on my Met. Didn't catch anything but a couple pics of where I fish and some mallard ducks. One thing I noticed about my Met's performance, it seems to like high temps and humidity. I got 38 mph on the level road, and it didn't slow down going up the slight incline like it usually does. I have the New and improved NCH50 (2013) :D. Yeah right. Any othe time, temps in 70's low humidity, I don't even see 35 mph most of the time on the same route. I now have almost 1700 miles on it since Sept. 2013, I don't ride in the winter, so that would be from mid November 2013 stored till May 2014. I think that's about 6 months riding time. Today a Harley pulled up next to me at a stoplight and he hollered over " I like your antennas" I said what antennas, he said your fishing poles stickin' out of your backpack. We said our goodbyes as the light turned green...... Larry

It is normal to get more power in warmer weather because of the lean factory fuel setting to pass emissions.

Love that you are loving your Met! I loved mine too!

Fishing on Met is nifty! Love the image.

I have been considering a modified golf pouch with putter, driver, and one iron to scoot over to the golf course!

Safe rides to you...
