Good to see positive reviews. It's fuel injected and water cooled, right?

Nice looking scooter. Sounds like they upped the power some.

Tell us more!

What's top sustainable cruising speed (on flats, no wind)?

How do you like the geometry/fit? I sat on one of the new 2016 Metros at the local dealer, and it felt smaller than the 2013-2015 model: handlebars seem lower, so more likely to ram into knees when turning; and foot space is very limited. It felt even more cramped than the 1st-gen (2002-2009) Mets, which in turn feel more cramped to me than the 2nd-gen (2013-2015)....

Combined with the reduced storage -- that small cubbyhole, rather than the more spacious open slot -- and I found myself thinking that, while it probably was faster and peppier, it didn't seem as practical for hauling stuff, and is designed for small riders to boot.

And what do you think of the aesthetics? The styling of the new ones looks a tad more girlish to my eye than the 2nd-gen. Do you like the white?

the 16 is a little smaller then 13 to 15 metro but i got use to it within the 1st few days....its about 5 mph faster on a flat but the big difference i saw was going up a hill i could maintain about 30 mph where as the 2nd generation would struggle to get above 20 or so...price is 400.00 dearer but the quality is much better

Wow, that's major. Thanks!

I wonder how fast it would go with a variator swap. Any idea whether anybody (Kitaco, Malossi, Pollini, M-Factory, NCY, etc.) has yet made a performance variator for this engine?

The Japanese name for this new bike is the Giorno Clip. I wonder if Webike shows any variators for the Clip....

i would assume we will see some options within a year and also remenber that this new engine might speed up a ruckus redo as it makes no sense to have the ruckus being the lone hold out with the older engine

I bet you're right. Wonder whether Honda will keep the frame unchanged and simply swap out the engine....

Hey @hondapcx150, are you routinely hitting the rev limiter on your new baby?

i had it doing 40 mph today and had not hit the rev limiter at that point but want to say that even if 40 is tops then i am happy due to the big increase in hill speed
