Thanks for the input, I'm going to send this to the Dr. tomorrow. My cholesterol is high especially the LDL but everything else is good. I've had the calcium score test done twice - at age 42 and this year at 47. Both times the test scored zero.
I've tried all the "statin" drugs and cannot take them for severe muscle aches and fatigue even with supplement COQ10. There is nothing I can do. I'm not overweight, I eat a good diet, and It's just hereditary and nerve wracking.
But I'm also not sure of the long term ill effects of the statins. Or where the magic number of 200 for total C came from...Or how these drugs effect the most important muscle of all, the heart. So I'm glad I'm intolerant to them.
I take 2 LOVAZA OMEGA 3 pills (2 gms) a day, and Vitamin C.
