Scooter happiness at last

Postby vulcan on Sat Sep 04, 2010 8:15 am

After over a year of searching for a vintage Vespa or Lambretta and not finding anything I could afford or trusted not to be a Viet hatchet job, I finally bought one of the last Genuine Stella 2 strokes in my state. Now this is what a scooter should be. Yes, I've had a few problems, and it takes a lot of maintenance, IMO something that goes with owning any mechanical device. But most of all, it is just plain fun, in a way that no modern 4 stroke twist and go scooter could ever be. It's also beautiful to look at, I get questions and compliments all the time.
