riding rain cover

Postby belonipony on Wed Nov 17, 2010 5:29 pm

I was overseas and noticed that a lot of people who were riding scooter, especially in bad weather, had what I would call a rain skirt. It was something that attached to the front faring and have enough rain proof fabric to cover one's thighs. Your shins are already covered by the faring, and a rain jacket keeps you upper dry, its your horizontal thighs that get drenched riding in the rain. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if they make something like this for the Met? If not, I imagine there is a market for one.

Yes, the termoscud is very popular. It helps with shipping costs if you order with someone else, but be careful about ordering too many at once, or it gets held up in customs.

Another alternative is a scooter skirt www.scooterskirt.com, made in California by a Vespa rider.
