seattle

Who here is a fellow Seattlite? We should keep in touch and get some rides going, as my only friends with scooters don't seem to have the same rabid desire to ride as I do.

I know this is an old thread, but hopefully you are still scooting! I am in Seattle. When are we going riding? :)

I live in Lake Stevens.... I ride all the time. I rode to Lynnwood cycle barn today to pick up some 5.1& 5.7gm rollers. I've ridden to Seattle multiple times. Most peeps from Seattle don't like to go anywhere but Seattle though. I prefer open road riding with little or no traffic, where the roads are smooth. I'm in Seattle a few times a week for work, the streets and roads remind me of Tijuana, pot holes everywhere.
The wife and I are riding to Monroe, Sultan, Duvall, then Snohomish tomorrow....... The weather's nice, make sure you get out there and ride.....

Come south on 203 a few miles below Monroe. Take a left on NE Cherry Valley Rd. and follow it until you get to Kelly Rd. Follow that until it connects to 203 just south of Duvall. OR you can cut across NE Rock Rd. off of Kelly and take that back to 203 in Duvall. You'll like it. I found this road for the first time last week on my R1150R and really enjoyed it. It would be a hoot on scooter!

yep.. .that's on my next run for sure. My next ride I want to do is from LakeStevens to Arlington back to Granite Falls, to Monroe, to Sultan, to Duvall, then to Snohomish. 113 miles. Looks like a blast. There are so many twisties on those roads. Most of the roads are 35mph too. On the route from Lake Roesigner to Monroe, there's a huge down slope for scoots. The Rucks did over 50 for like a mile..... wooot!!!

Or, BOOOM !!! , lol . Good thing Hondas are bullet-proof ..... damn !

Anybody got a tach on one ? I bet those Ruck motors are turning some serious revs at that speed , and sustained RPMs , to boot !!

Says a lot about Honda engineering and quality , to be able to run a stock motor like that and not have it grenade. :))
