This is bizarre

I check this and other forums a couple of times a day.
Starting this morning I have had to long in every time I come here!
Doesn't happen on other phpBB sites, just this one.

ellen- what browser are you using?Something in your p/w saving feature must have gotten changed.

I use both Firefox and Netscape and do not need to log in.

Right now I am using IE 6. I never have had any issues until today.
And only seems to be happening on UrbanScootin. Doesn't happen with Scooterdiva, ModernVespa, ModernBuddy, etc.

I am able to log in with no problem. Its just annoying :-/

I'm getting the same thing here - I have to log in each time from home (where I use IE7) but not at work (where I use IE6). Very odd!!

I'm not getting the log-in-every-time hassle, but when I click on a topic it takes forever for my browser page to fill and the forum server to give me the page. This most obvious in the last 2 days. Also, in the same time frame I have been getting Page Not Found notices occasionally, making it seem like the urbanscootin server is down. When I try the URL again (set up as a Favorite in my Links toolbar), the Forum Index displays normally on the second try. I'm using IE6. I think the forum server is flaky.

Jeff,

My experience is the same as Wendy's. I use Firefox on a new iMac, and it always asks to log in with the ID and password filled in already, I just click "yes".

OK.. I think I fixed my logging in issue.
I went into my temp folder and deleted all the internet garbage. Cache, cookies, etc.. Now when I log in I stay logged in.

I must have had a bad cookie or something.

Ellen - THANK YOU for posting the cookie connection. I tried the same and IT WORKED! I know having to log in each time shouldn't be a big deal, but it was annoying. Yippeeee!! :-*

Thanks for the tips Ellen. I see these issues from members from time to time, but I never respond because I'm pretty sure the board software is fine and I've never had a problem with this myself.

Thanks again Ellen!

I would clean the crap out of the cache, cookies, etc...

Problems like this are always client side... trouble is they can be pretty hard to troubleshoot.
