He's over the '6 lb limit' of the luggage rack, but I couldn't resist staging this picture.

Very cute picture!

How old is your son now? It seems like just a few months ago you were saying you were expecting! Is he sleeping all the way through the night now?

My first slept from 8 to 8 two weeks in. The other wouldn't sleep through the night until she was 3!!

Hopefully you're son is wearing a diaper or he'll have a serious case of waffle butt!

Let's see...to answer all questions in one post.

Thanks...I think he's super cute too, but I'm partial :)

Luke is just about 8 months, and fortunately has been sleeping through the night since about 10 weeks. It's been much easier (at least for now) being a mom than I thought. He's a good kid. He'll be getting that Chicco scooter in a few months.

I don't get to ride too much. My one guaranteed ride is to my weekly Kiwanis meeting, and sometimes I can sneak some errands on the scooter if my husband is home. The weather is so nice I try to ride as much as I can.

Make sure you get a bungee net over him so he doesn't bounce out. :))

Yes, great shot. At the risk of getting some people all worked up, it would be fun to get one with you at the bars, as if you're about to go for a ride like that.

You can use it to embarass him when he becomes an insolent teen. ;)

Actually, I thought of that - and sticking a salad bowl on his head as a makeshift helmet. However, I started thinking that someone would think I was serious and call child services :)

I like to think that is because of good parenting ;)
I know how you feel, I'm a stay at home father myself.

Such a cutie!
Pretty soon you'll be looking for a sidecar rig to bring him along. :p

Are we going to see you in a couple weeks at Scootergate?

He looks like Elmer Fudd. I don't know if that's good or bad, just my impression.

I think so. We're going to rent a trailer to tow the scooters. I just have to find a hotel. I've been racking up my 'hotel points', so I'm just going to cash them in.

Sounds good! I'll be riding down and back each day. Bring plenty of baby pictures. :)
