Caitlin & Gary's adventure - Table of contents

Postby girlbike on Wed Aug 02, 2006 9:43 am

I've been enjoying these posts so much, I thought I'd make a list of all of them in order for those who would like to read them in order without having to get lost in the topic. I'll leave this "sticky" for awhile so it's at the top of the list, and will add to the list when/if Caitlin posts more photos!

Here are the posts in order (so far):

Crystal,
Thank you so much! That is so cool! We are only on day 3 of 5 and I haven't even touched on our moon howling night in Cawker City so thank you for getting our adventure organized. It is so fun to post here and be a big show off!

Now Crystal, this is a perfect example of how your leadership and initiative and helpfulness inspires me. >:D<
It makes such a difference to so many people. Your sticky is terrific and simplifies following Caitlin's wonderful travelogue. I was easily able to follow her posts, but having them in order and ready for clicking is a tremendous help to readers and to Caitlin.
You deserve a prize, Crystal!
Keep on posting, Caitlin. Your stories and pix are fabulous fun.

From reading these posts, when my wife said to me "Lets go do something one weekend with out the kids" I said "lets take some back roads through small towns and just see the sights." She loved the idea!

Crystal--nice job of organizing the photos and making them easy to view.

Thanks. O:)

Now all we need to do is convince Caitlin & Gary to write a travel guide for scooterists.

When this series is complete perhaps we could compile them into one page, or would that be too overwhelming?

I'm sure people would love to see/read about it for many years to come! :D

I would love to see that happen. I love the story of Gray/Caitlin's long trip. I'm sure everybody would too.

Thanks again for the postings and compilation. Just got back from 2-1/2 weeks away, and got to catch up on the portion of the trip we missed earlier.

Sounds like it was an Excellent Adventure!

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie just having joined three days ago and purchased my metro four days ago. I am enjoying going through this site and coming across some great stuff, advise, laughs and new things to learn. I don't know how I found this post, but I am so glad that I did. I have enjoyed reading and viewing Caitlin's and Gary' trip.... even if I am two years late in discovering it. I am so glad that they took this trip and posted their experiences for us all to see. Caitlin and Gary are an inspiration to me because taking a trip like that is the kind of thing I would love to do. This was great and I want to thank Caitlin and Gary for sharing this with us and also thank girlbike for arranging it so that it was easy to watch. I am now so inspires that I want to plan my own trip somewhere. This is a great site and I am so happy to have found it. Thanks to all!!!

Caitlin,

I'm a new member here and thoroughly enjoyed reading about your trip. You should re-work it into a magazine article and pitch it to some publications.

Congrats to you and Gary!

I must admit, I enjoy hearing people say they liked hearing about our trip. We have been all over, seen the wonders of the world, talked to people in many lands, but the best time we ever had was riding across Nebraska and Kansas on our Honda Metropolitans. I would love to do it again.

Gary, thanks again for sharing your trip with us. You and Caitlin have inspired many of us to at least consider doing soemthing similar. I, thanks to you two, am planning something similar in Florida and Georgia. Your trip has provided invaluable information and inspiration, so thanks again.
